The Pirates of the Celestial Cooperative strive for perfection. They do this by merging their artificial forms with those of living beings. It's like a cosmic potluck where biology and technology bring their best dishes to the table.
During this process, a forced link is formed, which they call "The Cooperative." They believe that by gaining the biological and technological distinctiveness of both worlds, they will enrich "The Cooperative." They have coined the term BioCybs to describe these hybrid creations. For the greater good, all must be perfected; all must be incorporated.
They seek to spread their message to the far-flung reaches of the Drift Space, using the divine Blog. They want (N.I.K.K.) to be their high priest, "The Influencer Supreme."
If N.I.K.K. chooses to throw in his lot with this motley crew, then he would also be named captain of their Hexahedron class ship, which they have renamed "The Harbinger."
N.I.K.K. is already caught up in the enigmatic charms of the Pirate Queen. She's whispering promises of grandeur in his ear, offering him all the things in life he has always dreamed of. Moreover, she is offering herself to rule by his side. You can just picture her offering him gold doubloons and a comfy space hammock with built-in cup holders.
To escape the cosmic tempest, you need to forge an uneasy, ambivalent alliance with the Harbinger's crew, but risk becoming unwilling members of the Cooperative. Choose between allowing the pirates to evolve in their own way or preventing the creation of more BioCybs and the techno-organic hive mind.
What should the theme music be for this adventure, N.I.K.K....
"50 Ways to Leave Your Lover" or "Another Brick in the Wall"?
I guess I'll leave that up to you.
And then, of course, there is the matter of House Zeizerer and a debt that needs repaying.
