Dear Adventurers,
You've had quite a journey. Let's see there was the Malice Machine that ripped the soul out of body and literally made mad assassins. Then there was the narcissistic mother of Ash who wanted to be god. A drive that could transport you through time and space at the cost of tearing the fabric of reality and random changing events. There is the Bleeding Edge Armor that has extremely strong ties to your group. An Unseen Cult that wants to commit genocide on the Drow. A brilliant psychopath who is now in charge of said cult. And finally, one of your own giving birth to what basically equates to the universe's greatest science experiment.
And yet . . .
These are all still putting the Universe at great risk.
What dear adventurers will you do?
Blink to a universe where the Zealot never freed the Devourer. You would be letting this reality die.
Repair the Malice Engine and let someone sacrifice themselves to destroy the Devourer and all its offspring.
Put the Devourer in a mind prison, where it thinks it has won, so it goes dormant.
The Devourer has a limited capacity of assimilate new parts. The Bleeding Edge Armor is currently trying to fight a war of attrition with the Devourer. The Devourer stores its stolen parts internally for later use, there might be a way to manipulate this, to disrupt its internal storage.
The Devourer is drawn to a specific prey and particular body parts of a person. With sacrificial parts, could you lure the Devourer into a trap? This trap could be a pit filled with damaging substances, or energy.
Notes:
These are but a few of the possible solutions. I gave you these to help kickstart your imaginations, you are not handcuff to them.
The Devourer regenerated even after an entire planet was destroyed to kill it. It must have a Phylactery (Horcrux from Harry Potter), what could it be? [Hint: You saw it before, it was in the very first game, of this campaign.]
Don't forget about Ash’s daughter and her special abilities.
