Dr. Robert Lanza, a visionary scientist with a radical theory, is orchestrating an experiment within the confines of the Rocky Point Haunted House. His audacious goal? To breach the veil between our reality and the supernatural, a feat he believed could be achieved by manipulating the collective consciousness.
Lanza's belief in Biocentrism, the idea that consciousness is fundamental to the universe, and had led him down an unorthodox path. He postulated that by harnessing the power of fear, and belief, he could induce a momentary paradigm shift, unlocking humanity's latent divine potential.
To execute his plan, Lanza had assembled a diverse group of individuals: All fervent believers. The group is made up from members of the occult, skilled actors, and unsuspecting audience members. The haunted house, a macabre stage, would serve as the catalyst for his experiment. By carefully selecting a location with a low population density of skeptics, he aimed to minimize interference with his grand design.
The disappearance of numerous scientists, all staunch atheists, had preceded the experiment.
All disappearances started one year before this experiment and continue to this day.
The missing individuals, all in their late thirties or older, vanished without a trace, all leaving behind grieving families and a trail of perplexing clues. Their disappearances formed a chilling pattern: each victim was abducted from a location at least 100 miles from the ominous Rocky Point Haunted House.
When plotted on a map, the last known locations of the missing formed a disturbingly perfect circle, hinting at a calculated and methodical operation. The fact that no bodies or ransom notes were found deepened the mystery, raising questions about the motives behind these abductions.
The victims were both male and female, and share two common characteristics: they were all prominent figures in the scientific community, known for their skepticism, and all had loving families. This suggests that their abduction was not a random act of violence, but rather a targeted attack.
Note: All volunteers for this experiment were picked locally, from within the 100-mile circle.
Their absence, coupled with the eerie silence surrounding their disappearance, added a layer of mystery to the already enigmatic plot.
The Grim on your team, a seasoned investigator, suspected that Lanza was attempting to create a Tulpa, a supernatural brought to life through sheer force of belief. By orchestrating a terrifying spectacle and manipulating the minds of the participants, Lanza hoped to manifest supernatural events and or beings, thus blurring the lines between illusion and reality.
As the night of the experiment approached, the tension in the air is palpable.

Man lives in the sunlit world of what he believes to be reality. But there is unseen by most, an underworld, a place that is just as real, but not as brightly lit.
