The crew of the Invictus had risked their lives by utilizing an experimental drive system salvaged from a derelict ship. The experience was so sudden, they had initially thought the dive had failed. In reality, it took just a mere blink of an eye before they were catapulted out of the unknown void and back into familiar space. They had narrowly escaped the parallel dimension filled with unspeakable horrors.
However, their relief was short-lived.
Little did they know, they had brought something back with them, something malevolent, that now stalks the corridors of the ship, feeding off their fear and despair. At first, it was just a feeling, a sense of unease that permeated everything. Then, one by one, they start finding the bodies. Their ship, which was once a sanctuary, has become a prison, a nightmare from which they cannot awake.
With each passing moment, the malicious entity closes in on its next victim, and the remaining crew knows they are rapidly running out of time. Their only hope is to find a way to banish the entity back into the dimension from whence it came.
Good luck adventurers.
