Episode 16: Bill Dies In The End

Quote

The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.”

- Ralph Waldo Emerson

In the wake of the harrowing encounter aboard the Invictus, our courageous crew now teeters on the precipice of an even deeper mystery. The eerie chant and the haunting voice of the little girl still linger in their minds, but a promise to Lady Valeria propels their journey to Absalom Station in a frantic race against time. Their mission: to outpace their relentless pursuers and deliver William, a seemingly ordinary passenger, who, for some reason, holds the key to someone’s desperate struggle for their life.

Benny, ever astute, reveals startling information about William, or, as he should be called, Doctor Pratt. Meanwhile, a peculiar phenomenon (Mandela effect), grips the crew, as they experience inexplicable alterations in their surroundings, defying their memories and understanding of reality. (It's probably nothing, and not connected to anything going on, just forget I mentioned it.)

Additionally, there is still the puppet master out there in the universe pulling strings. Vicky has begun to call those who manipulate their victims through brain implants as "The Unseen”.

As the shadows of the unknown loom large, the fate of worlds and innocent souls hang in the balance. Join our intrepid adventurers in the next installment, where a sacrifice must be made, and the true nature of the threat will finally be revealed.

The answers lie in the heart-pounding adventure that awaits. See you then Space Cowboy.

Note: “Space Cowboy” is a reference from the anime Cowboy Bebop, in case you didn't know that you Godless heathens...lol
