Captain's Log:
Ash, Vydrion, Tyrone and myself returned to the Invictus to find very confused companions. They said one moment we were there and the next moment we are turning around and giving them an impossible tale. To them 3 seconds had transpired, while for us several grueling hours had passed. Goblin confirmed that we had indeed aged and some sort of timey-wimey event took place.
With that resolved, we had to decide as a crew what to do next. This was too important of a decision for it to be a Captain's edict. However, we had the complicated matter of excluding Maisie from hearing and understanding our plans. She was now connected to the Unknown and could relay anything we came up with. I had enough of killing today and I didn't want to initiate a battle with a pychopathic, super genius. Goblin was all too happy to try and befriend this new person. Goblin is still harboring resentment to the crew for letting Tybar sacrifice himself. Tyrone didn't make things better when he divulged to her that Tybar is still alive. It just gave her even more reason to hate us because we weren't immediately going out to find and rescue him.
The crew finally decided that we didn't want genocide on our hands and we had to warn the Drow, even though they believed us dead. It would be putting ourselves at risk if they discovered who the warning was from. I did my best to impersonate Lilith and sent a broadcast from the home planet of the of the mob family that had direct dealings with the Drow. However, we played right into the Unseen's hands. They were not attacking Apostate, they instead crippled them economically by destroying the facilities that created the warships that the Drow relied on. The Drow would now face economical devastation for decades to come. The GM was told to go sleep in the guest room for that stunt.
Meanwhile, Ash needed to go have a heart to heart with Bubblegum. She needed to explain to him what happened in the Null, and how she was now carrying a baby that she could communicate with. Bubblegum was not only supportive of Ash and her condition, but he offered to help out in anyway possible, including marrying her. Ash, of course, said yes.
With the Drow warned, we were free to pursue the missing link to this whole Unseen business. We left Maisie planet side and took off to find the individual responsible for the underlying emotion running through the Unseen. Join our adventures next time as they uncover more of the story and a possible wedding?
