— St. Augustine

The Hell Priest with pins in his face does not threaten you.

He speaks as if entering testimony into a record.

He explains that Hell has laws.

The entity you know as Pennywise exists outside them.

Get It to open the box.

The Box cannot be opened by force, nor by ignorance.

It must be opened by desire.

When it is opened, Hell will claim what does not belong to this world.

The town will survive.

In Its arrogance, It drifts through existence untouchable, boredom rotting the edges of its hunger.

When it opens the Box, it will experience something long denied, an outcome it cannot anticipate.

SESSION RECAP

The Offer

Following the aftermath of their previous encounter, the Agents are confronted by a figure who does not threaten, he documents.A Hell Priest, clad in black leather, flayed flesh pinned back with hooks and nails, steps out of reality itself. Behind him is not a building, but a labyrinth.

He explains the geometry of the situation:

  • The entity haunting them is Malak, a Cardarian abomination older than humanity.

  • It feeds on fear and flesh, especially children.

  • It exists outside Hell’s jurisdiction, a thief of souls.

  • Hell wants what is rightfully theirs.

The solution is simple and impossible:

  • Malak must open the Box.

  • The Configuration cannot be forced nor tricked.

  •  It must be opened by desire.

The Hell Priest gives the Agents the Box—and vanishes as brick and mortar reassemble like nothing ever happened.

Warnings and Impossible Weapons

Almost immediately, Josie’s anomalous armor issues a chilling alert: an option labeled END OF DAYS appears.

END OF DAYS, a failsafe weapon capable of unmaking reality itself, erasing all life, all souls, and forcing final judgment.

The team unanimously refuses. The world remains… for now.

Note: The armor cannot protect Josie from psychic attacks, only physical harm is irrelevant.

New Orders

Delta Green Handler Saoirse contacts the team with two revelations:

  1. An angelic being has appeared publicly, stopping a bus from killing a child. Footage exists. The Agents are ordered to contain or eliminate it immediately.

  2. They have a package waiting for them.

Unspoken truth:The “angel” is Josie, unknowingly acting while asleep—her armor answering desperate prayers without her consent.

Complicating matters, the package is accompanied by a disturbing audio message from a clockwork anomalous entity the Agents previously encountered—one that cannot die, regrets its existence, and hints that the team will someday be sent to destroy it.

The Decision: Derry

Malak is a fractured entity, its pieces scattered:

  • One fragment is Amberlynn, a child in the Agent’s secret bunker

  • One fragment is bound to a map, also in the Agent’s hands

  • One fragment is Pennywise, trapped in Derry, Maine

The team realizes: if Malak opens the Box, all its pieces may be claimed.

They head for Derry even with the knowledge of that risk.

Derry Pushes Back

Before they even arrive, reality begins to rot:

  • A balloon fills the car interior with blood

  • The town itself radiates hostility

  • The Agents bleed endlessly, blood soaking sheets, floors, clothes

  • Townsfolk pretend not to notice

To counter psychic terror, the team acquires two tools from the bunker:

  • A psychic-shielding helmet, which Evangeline wears.

  • A drug labeled “F It All”, which suppresses fear… and motivation

Half the team takes the pills (Mabel & Elinor), becoming dangerously indifferent.

Into the Lair

Guided by an anomalous rabbit toy detector, the team locates an abandoned house—the epicenter of Malak’s presence.

Inside:

  • Living wallpaper

  • A spider made of human limbs

  • A rotting dog licking faces

  • A well descending into darkness

The pills render some Agents nearly useless. Others press on. Josie is seized and dragged into the depths. She is suspended in air and captivated by the creatures' deadlights.

The Bargain

Deep underground, surrounded by children’s bodies and impossible geometry, Malak finally speaks and offers a deal to Evangeline:

Bring me the girl, and you may live.

Evangeline counters with the box and its truth:

  • The Box is a portal

  • It offers IT an escape from Derry

  • The Box leads to a realm of fear far beyond anything Malak can imagine

She hesitates, just enough to make IT believe it is not a trap. Malak takes the Box.

Hell Claims Its Due

As Malak manipulated the Configuration, the Box responded. Chains erupted. Hooks bite. Malak shifted forms, corpse, spider, god, child, but the chains adapted.

The Hell Priest and Cenobites emerge through tearing stone.

“You opened the Box. We came.”

Malak screams threats, promising to destroy souls, to kill children, but Hell has jurisdiction now. IT is dragged screaming into the Box, fingers clawing uselessly at reality.

The Box seals.

The cavern goes silent.

Aftermath

  • Josie collapses, exhausted

  • Derry’s oppressive dread lifts, like a fever breaking

  • The town becomes… normal

But consequences remain:

  • Josie remembers dozens of “dreams” that were real rescues

  • Her armor has been using her as a vessel

  • Delta Green unknowingly ordered the team to hunt their own agent

Her grandfather confirms the truth: The armor will not let her die, but it will wear her hollow.

Loose Threads

  • The Box is back in the Agents’ possession

  • Saoirse demands answers, and the package

  • The rogue angel in the bunker must still be addressed

  • Amberlynn remains dangerous, but contained

  • Josie may be slowly losing herself

Session End

The Agents leave Derry behind, scarred, alive, and carrying tools that should not exist.

Hell got what it wanted.

Now Delta Green wants answers.

And something is still watching.

SUBJECT: AGENT EVANGELINE

Time: 09:14 Room: Interview Room B Status: Cooperative

SAOIRSE: Let’s start simple. Tell me what Malak was.

EVANGELINE: It wasn’t one thing. It was… distributed. Fractured across multiple anchors. Fear, flesh, geography. Children.

SAOIRSE: Children. You’re sure about that?

EVANGELINE: Yes.

SAOIRSE: And you believe Hell had jurisdiction.

EVANGELINE: I don’t believe it. It explained it. Calmly.

SAOIRSE: You trusted it.

EVANGELINE: No. I evaluated the geometry of the situation.

(pause)

SAOIRSE: You negotiated with a non-human intelligence that skins people alive.

EVANGELINE: So does Delta Green, if you zoom out far enough.

(long silence)

SAOIRSE: That’s not funny.

EVANGELINE: I didn’t intend it to be.

(recording continues)

TRANSCRIPT 2

SUBJECT: AGENT JOSIE

SAOIRSE: Do you remember stopping the bus?

JOSIE: Yes.

SAOIRSE: You were asleep.

JOSIE: I was dreaming.

SAOIRSE: Describe the dream.

JOSIE: Someone was praying. I don’t know who. I didn’t see them. I just… knew where to be.

(heartbeat monitor increases slightly)

SAOIRSE: Did you choose to act?

JOSIE: I don’t think that’s the right word.

SAOIRSE: Did you want to?

(long pause)

JOSIE: I don’t remember wanting anything.

(note: subject appears distressed but not panicked)

SAOIRSE: Do you hear prayers when you’re awake?

JOSIE: No.

(quietly) I hear… absences.

(recording flags emotional anomaly)

TRANSCRIPT 3

SUBJECT: AGENT MABEL

Time: 11:37 Room: Interview Room A Status: Defensive

SAOIRSE: Half your team voluntarily ingested a drug labeled “F It All.”

MABEL: It worked.

SAOIRSE: It suppressed motivation.

MABEL: Fear is also motivation.

SAOIRSE: So is loyalty.

(pause)

MABEL: You didn’t tell us the angel was one of ours.

SAOIRSE: We didn’t know.

MABEL: You suspected.

(silence)

SAOIRSE: If you had followed orders—

MABEL: —you would have made us murder an asset you don’t understand.

(Saoirse exhales slowly)

SAOIRSE: Careful.

MABEL: I am being careful.

(recording continues)

TRANSCRIPT 4

SUBJECT: AGENT ELEANOR

Time: 13:05 Room: Containment Adjacent Status: Physically Compromised (Snake Form)

SAOIRSE: Are you aware of your current condition?

ELINOR: I am painfully aware.

SAOIRSE: Does it impair your judgment?

ELINOR: No more than yours.

(handler note: subject remains articulate, hostile)

SAOIRSE: Do you believe Malak is fully destroyed?

ELINOR: Nothing like that is ever destroyed. It’s… reassigned.

SAOIRSE: To Hell.

ELINOR: (smiles) For now.

TRANSCRIPT 5

INTERNAL HANDLER MEMO (NOT SHARED WITH AGENTS)

Summary:

Agents demonstrated unacceptable autonomy but achieved total neutralization of threat.

Concerns:

– Agent Josie constitutes an uncontrolled intervention vector

– Armor represents a non-terminable asset

– Exposure to Hell introduces precedent

Recommendation:

– Secure the Configuration immediately

– Separate Agent Josie from team “for evaluation”

– Reclassify Derry event as containment success with anomalous assistance

Note:

Agents appear morally convinced they acted correctly. This belief must be managed.
